Mobile Snap - Privacy Policy

Mobile Snap, LLC. (“Mobile Snap,” “us” or “we”) respects the individual privacy of our users.  This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the information we collect through our mobile applications (“Applications”), games (including Facebook applications), software, or other services (collectively, the “Services”). In this Privacy Policy we describe how we collect, use and disclose the information that we collect about you when you download our Applications, and use our Services. By downloading our Applications or using our Services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

The Information We Collect About You

We may collect information about you directly from you and from third parties, as well as automatically through your use of our Applications or Services. Information We Collect Directly From You. You do not need to provide us with personal information to use our Applications or Services, but we do collect personal information for certain Services that we provide to you. For example, we may request your name, gender, e-mail address, physical address, and birth date. Certain information, as indicated, may be required to use some of our Services and we may request additional optional information.  If purchasing a game or other Service, you may also be required to provide a valid credit card number and billing information or other payment information. Information that We Collect from Social Networking Sites. If you log into our Services through a social networking application, we collect certain information about you. Currently, we allow you to log in to most of our Applications and Services through Facebook and Twitter; we may add log on capability through other social networking sites in the future.

Accessing our Applications. To log into our Services or Applications using Facebook, you must enter the email address and password for your Facebook account. We will ask that you grant us permission to (i) access certain Facebook profile information, such as your Facebook basic information (your name, profile picture, user ID, list of friends, and any other information you have set to public on your Facebook account), your Likes, and your birthday (ii) to access your email address in order to send you email; and (iii) to post to your Wall (including your high scores).  If you grant us access to this information, we will have access to it even if you have chosen not to make it public. We store this information with other information that we collect from or about you.  We have no control over how Facebook or any third-party social networking site uses and discloses the information it collects from you; for information about this, please consult their respective privacy policies.  Facebook users who wish to stop using our Facebook application, or discontinue accessing our Site or Services via their Facebook account, may cancel their account and request that we delete all of the Facebook user data that we have collected from them by emailing us at info@mobilesnap.com Information We Collect Automatically. We automatically collect the following information about your use of our Applications or Services through cookies, web beacons, local storage objects and other technologies: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; the length of time you use our Applications or Services; and the referring URL, or the webpage that led you to our Applications or Services. We also may collect the following information about users of our mobile applications: mobile device ID; language information; device name and model; operating system type, name, and version; your activities within the application; and the length of time that you are logged into our Application. Contests and Surveys. We may run contests and promotions and conduct online surveys in which we ask you for contact and other personal information, including information provided through the social networking site through which you access such contests or surveys.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We may use the information that we gather about you for the following purposes:

• To provide the Services and to enhance and tailor your experience within the Services, to respond to inquiries, to fulfill your orders, and for other customer service purposes.
• To tailor the content and information that we may send or display to you, to offer location customization, and personalized help and instructions, and to otherwise personalize your experiences while using our Applications or our Services.
• For marketing and promotional purposes.  For example, we may use your information to alert you of new products, services, features and enhancements, to respond to your support issues, and to notify you of upgrade opportunities, contests, promotions, and special offers.  We also may use the information that we learn about you to assist us in advertising our Services, or to display targeted advertising in our Applications.
• To better understand how users access and use our Applications and Services, both on an aggregated and individualized bases, in order to improve our Applications and Services and respond to user desires and preferences, and for other research and analytical purposes.
• If you have granted us permission, to post to your Facebook Wall.

How We Disclose the Information We Collect

We may share the information that we collect about you, including personal information, as follows:

• Service Providers.We may disclose your personal information to third party service providers, such as those that assist us in responding to your requests, that handle marketing campaigns or payment processing, or that support offerings.  Unless we tell you differently, these companies may only use the personal information we provide to them as necessary to assist us.
• Business Partners.  We may provide your personal information to our business partners who may use your information for internal analysis and research purposes.
• Business Transfers. If we are acquired by or merged with another company, if substantially all of our assets are transferred to another company, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, we may transfer the information we have collected from you to the other company.
• In Response to Legal Process.  We may disclose your personal information and other information about you when required to do so by law, including in response to a court order, subpoena, search warrant or other legal process.
• To Protect Us and Others.  We also may disclose personal information and other information about users in order to enforce our agreements, our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, to investigate, protect and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of the Services, and to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of our company, our users or others.
• Aggregate and De-Identified Information.  We may share aggregate or de-identified information about users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research or similar purposes.

Third Party Analytics. We use automated devices and applications, such as Game Analytics, to evaluate usage (to the extent permitted), of our Applications and other Services. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate our Services. We use these tools to help us improve our Applications, performance and user experiences. We do not share your personal information with these third parties.

Third Party Advertising

Our Applications are supported by advertising.  We work with third party advertisers to display targeted ads to users of the free version of our Application, within the Application; however, we do not share your personally identifiable information with these third party advertisers.

We also use third parties such as network advertisers to display Mobile Snap advertisements on third party websites. These third parties may use cookies and other tracking devices to track your activity on our Site and across other third party websites, in order to display advertisements based on your visits to our Applications as well as other websites. This enables us and these third parties to target advertisements by displaying ads for products and services in which you might be interested.  Third party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), LSOs and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. These third party cookies and other technologies are governed by each third party’s specific privacy policy, not this one.  We may provide these third-party advertisers with aggregate or non-personally-identifiable information about your usage of our Site and Services.

You may opt-out of many third-party ad networks, including those operated by members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”).   For more information regarding this practice by NAI members and DAA members, and your choices regarding having this information used by these companies, including how to opt-out of third-party ad networks operated by NAI and DAA members, please visit their respective websites: www.networkadvertising.org/optout_nonppii.asp (NAI) and  www.aboutads.info/choices (DAA). Opting out of one or more NAI or DAA member networks (many of which will be the same) only means that those members no longer will deliver targeted content or ads to you.  It does not mean you will no longer receive any targeted content or ads on our Site or other websites.  You may continue to receive advertisements, for example, based on the particular website that you are viewing.  Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you visit this opt-out page, or you subsequently erase your cookies, use a different computer or change web browsers, your NAI or DAA opt-out may no longer be effective. User Generated Content

On our Facebook page and in the future within Applications, we have locations where we invite you to post comments. Any information that you post will be available to all visitors to our Applications or other Services, as applicable. If you post your own content, your post may become public and we cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that may violate this Privacy Policy, the law, or your personal privacy.

Your Choices About Marketing Communications

We provide you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving certain communications from us when we request information about you for these purposes. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or for other customer-service related purposes.

Third-Party Sites

The Services may contain links to other websites. We have no responsibility for the privacy practices of other websites, including the websites of our business partners or the social networking or third party sites through which you may access any of our Services. You should review the policies of any third party sites before providing personal information to these sites.

International Users

If you are accessing our Applications or Services from outside the United States, please be advised that your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, a jurisdiction whose data protection laws may not provide equivalent legal protections for your personal information as do the data protection laws in your jurisdiction. You expressly consent to the transfer of your personal information to, and the processing of it in, the United States.

Security

We have implemented reasonable security measures to help protect the personal information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction and alteration. However, despite our efforts, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, computer, or mobile device by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private.  We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.

Changes and updates to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically by us, as reflected by date above.  Please revisit this page to stay aware of any such changes. Material amendments to this Privacy Policy will be communicated to you at the time you log into an Application or Services. Your continued use of the Application or Services constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any revisions.
